Photo Explorer Tours is dedicated to developing a program of custom tours, some scheduled and others with flexible dates, that provide efficient and economical access to some of the world's best photographic opportunities. Founded in 1981 as China Photo Workshop Tours by award-winning travel photographer and China specialist Dennis Cox, Photo Explorer Tours has expanded its tours program since 1996 to include a series of exciting new destinations around the world to complement our highly successful program of China tours. Working directly with carefully selected tour companies and photo tour guides at each destination who understand the special needs of photographers, we provide two programs of tours for your participation.

2012 Scheduled Photo Explorer Tour

OLD FAVORITE / Confirmed Departure: Western TURKEY Explorer, October 28 - November 11, 2012. The best of Western Turkey is a popular itinerary we have offered annually since 1996. It is available as a custom tour in our Custom Tours for Independent Photo Explorers tours program, as well as once annually as a scheduled group tour open to individuals. Included are Istanbul, Cappadocia, Konya, Antalya, Pamukkale, Kusadasi, Ephesus, Pergamum, Assos, and Troy. Price for this scheduled group tour is US$4195, sharing an air-conditioned double room (single room supplement is US$775). The land price includes all ground transportation in Turkey in a comfortable air-conditioned van or private car, domestic flights, lodging, breakfast and dinner daily, all admission fees, and and the services of outstanding English-speaking photo guide, Mehmet Ozbalci. Group is limited to 12 participants.

PLEASE NOTE: These Custom Tours are not scheduled tours. They may be booked at just about any time. Cost decreases as size of group increases.
